Winter has arrived!

A couple of pictures to tell the tale....

Yesterday we had a little dusting, but it was bright, sunny although definitely on the chilly side - that's our little house with the blue van out front

Then today the snow is really coming down, it is grey and wet out there

It is very hard to tell, but there were huge fluffy snowflakes falling when I took this. And to think I thought I had left this all behind on the other side of the Atlantic! I think it might be time to put away the sunbed........

It's nice to see your house in the context of the rest of the village. And the snow is rather lovely, although it is cold. We're expecting ours on Wednesday.

Your little house looks cosy! Winter is certainly here now and we are not so far away from you! But after Canada it must be mild.

Yea the sunbed needs to hibernate for a bit me thinks LOL. The weather while I am here in the UK is terrible at the moment, but our magic wood burner is in France so no help to us at the moment!! Diane

I hope you are still enjoying your new life over here in France. The house is looking lovely both inside and out. We are here for Christmas this year, our first one over here and very strange because it will be the first one without any of our family. I will be thinking of you in the same situation.

Ladies we have had a fair bit more snow over the last few days and it has certainly been cosy.

Hazel - glad you are enjoying being back in France even if it does mean a Christrmas a deux :) We however are heading back to Canada for Christmas, I needed to know that when I left in October!
